Effective infection prevention increasingly relies on collaboration with Information Services (IS), yet differences in language, priorities, and workflows often create barriers. This session provides infection preventionists with a practical overview of IS infrastructure and processes and offers strategies to improve communication and collaboration.

Participants will learn how to reframe infection prevention needs using IS terminology, align requests with IS priorities, and apply collaboration strategies that support effective system improvements.
